Ida Toninato & Pierre-Luc Lecours 

Pierre-Luc Lecours and Ida Toninato bring together the acoustic and electronic worlds by

the encounter of baritone saxophone, modular synthesizer and real time video

generation. Their world is made of stark contrasts and lush harmonies, which they fully inhabit before deconstructing them. They presented their first show, Inner Seas as a result of a collaboration between artists center Avatar and Mutek festival. Performed 12 times in North America and Europe, Inner Seas saw them delve into the depths of deep emotional worlds. Later partnering with festival INSCAPE (Korea) and curator Jae Yoon Bang as well as Mutek Festival, Ida Toninato and Pierre-Luc Lecours presented Homeostasis at beloved Montreal's Usine C before taking it to Mutek Tokyo, Sonica in Glasgow, Mutek Fests in Buenos Aires and Santiago, and Bogota.
